Some are called by God to go and teach. Nearly 300 years ago, Lucy Fillippini heard the call and responded whole-heartedly to a mission of faith and charity, with a fervent desire to make the world better. Today, many young women join the Religious Teachers Fillippini and our mission to “Go and Teach the Word of God.” It is our commitment to embody the presence of Jesus through the ministry of education and empower those with whom we serve to continue to make the world a better place for all.
The Pontifical Institute of Religious Teachers Filippini is an international community of Catholic consecrated women who dedicate their lives to God through the oblation of poverty, chastity and obedience. Consecrated to God for mission and sustained through prayer and community, the Religious Teacher imitates Christ the Teacher by serving His people through education and wisdom, communion and hope.
THE INVITATION
The Religious Teachers Filippini are looking for women who are determined, prayerful and passionate. Our lives are a free and total response to God’s love. We encourage other women, who may be called to the same community of prayer and service to join us in bringing the Word of God to people throughout the world. We invite you to speak with us, share with us, and maybe someday go and teach with us.
